I am Anita Natumanya. I came to NCCS in 2015. I am a strong lady who dreams big and I'm working for my dreams. I have a lovely son who is named Esau. He lives with my parents and brothers and sisters. part of my salary helps to support them.
In 2014 I graduated, but I could not go to university so I came to Kabale to work. Judith, Pastor Obed and their family welcomed me and loved me. In the 3rd term of 2015, Pastor Obed gave me a job at the school and encouraged me to get Early Childhood Education training. It took two years to finish, but I did it!
NCCS staff has been much like family to me. We live and work together well. The directors (Principal and Head Teachers) are supportive and encouraging, not just a boss. Eric has even been helpful in getting one of my brothers through his schooling back at home.
During the lockdown (nearly two years in Uganda) I studied another trade and found work outside education. I returned to NCCS because I missed the children and knew I was a teacher at heart. I had to go back to class!
