The property for NCCS sits on the side of a mountain, and is, of course, sloped from top to bottom. In order to build, the site has been graded and “terraced,” creating two levels. The terracing, degree of the slope, and two rainy seasons have caused some erosion. To combat erosion, planting grass, bushes, and trees, as well as creating water features must be done. The landscaping will allow the of protecting the property as well as creating athletic fields and enhancing the overall campus.
