Why is a playground necessary for New Covenant Christian School?

Playgrounds at schools have a vital role in a well-designed education. Children who play are better prepared to learn. Play reduces stress, anxiety, and the effects of trauma. Research shows children with regular, unstructured time have increased attention spans and show better cognitive growth than those who do not. On the playground, they will practice interpersonal skills and practice living out the values being taught at NCCS.
