Education

What makes NCCS a Christian school?

NCCS is unique in its approach to education. The school culture is Christian. The values taught are based not on cutting-edge research, or popular culture, but on the timeless teachings of Jesus Christ. The teachers seek to guide the children in recognizing their value as chosen, and beloved. They help the children learn to recognize God’s love for them and respond with love for others. This includes learning to love God and love his creation- whether that creation is a neighbor, a parent, a friend, or the environment.

You might recognize some familiar elements at NCCS. The mornings begin with prayer and the weekly memory verse is posted. Each day ends with a general assembly and Bible teaching. On Wednesdays, the students gather for Chapel. They sing worship songs in both English and Runyankore (the local language), and have a children’s service.

Choose how you’d like to get involved. All in, just a little, it all counts!
