Educating children in Nangala, Uganda is not an easy process. There are no teachers available in the village of Nangala, so when a teacher is hired by New Covenant Christians School, they come from the city and they need a place to live. Local houses are currently rented for the teachers to live in, but these houses are very primitive and uncomfortable for the teachers. A modern teacher’s house is planned for the New Covenant Christian School. The Teacher’s House is a modern building that will include eight sleeping rooms, four each in the men’s and the woman’s wing. The sleeping rooms are large enough for two teachers. The wings are separated by a common room and include locking interior and exterior doors in each wing. There is also a covered porch where the teachers can sit and enjoy the fresh air without being in the sun.
