We thank God for that what he has done at New Covenant Christian School. We appreciate Hope 4 the Children for the great support given to us. You are a big part of this story and a great testimony. Last year, we had our first candidates class sitting for the National exams where our candidates from one of the poorest remote areas of Uganda had an opportunity to compete nationally with giant schools from the whole country of Uganda. Our four candidates passed their exams well with nice grades. All four candidates from NCCS passed the national exam. We thank God three of them have already joined the secondary level of education. This is a big testimony within the community in the village of Nangala, giving our school great credibility and trust. Thank you again Hope 4 the Children, may God bless you abundantly for your support of New Covenant Christian School. By Pastor Obed Ndyamuba

New Covenant Christian School's project in Nangala, a semi-remote mountain village, comes with its fair share of challenges. One such challenge is the expensive transportation cost of construction materials. The remote location of the village makes it difficult and costly to bring in the required building materials, thus adding to the already tight budget for the project. Another challenge that the school must address is providing room and board for its teachers. As the village is situated in a remote area, it is difficult to find accommodation and food for the teachers. This presents a significant challenge for the school, which is committed to providing its teachers with comfortable and adequate living conditions to enable them to focus on their teaching responsibilities. Additionally, many parents in the village cannot afford to pay for tuition or uniforms for their children.

A man who lives in the village of Nangala came to the administrator of New Covenant Christian School in January of 2023. The man had a very sad story of how his wife had left him with their young daughter and at the same time, he became the guardian of his two nieces who are about the same age as his daughter. This man did not have enough money to put all three girls into New Covenant Christian School and he didn’t want to send just one of them without the others. Hope 4 The Children was able to make this need known to a lady who lives in Frankfurt, Michigan, and she was very happy to support the three girls. She donated $150.00 to Hope 4 The Children, which was enough to fund the tuition as well as uniforms for each of the girls for the whole year. It is amazing how so little makes such a big difference in the lives of the people in Nangala.
